Laura Baruch Sherman’s passion for Jewish communal work stems from her upbringing in Milwaukee, where she was raised by two nonprofit Jewish professionals. After graduating from Columbia College Chicago, Laura gained experience in various roles, including Transportation Coordinator for Ramah Day Camp, Director of Membership and Programming at Anshe Emet Synagogue, and Entertainment Project Management at Leo Burnett/Starcom Worldwide. Laura and her husband, Charlie, Head of School at a local synagogue, reside in Buffalo Grove with their three children.
