Dr. Barry Chazan is an internationally acclaimed Jewish educator and pioneer in the field of Israel education. He is professor emeritus of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and adjunct professor in the Graduate School of Education and Human Development at the George Washington University. Barry is the founding international director of education at Taglit-Birthright Israel. His books and articles deal with moral development and education, philosophy of Jewish education, informal education, and Israel and Jewish education. He is the recipient of numerous prizes and awards for his pioneering work in the Field of Jewish Education.
