ROLE OVERVIEW
As the Educational Event Coordinator at The iCenter, you’ll innovate and collaborate with our internal teams and partners to create unparalleled educational experiences. You will support every detail, from conception to completion, ensuring each event meets the highest standards of quality and impact. By building strong relationships with vendors and event staff, you will bring seamless, immersive experiences to life. This role requires travel and hands-on involvement, all while fostering a dynamic and inspiring team culture on-site.
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
Your role includes but is not limited to:
- Supporting the Educational Experience Producer to coordinate event logistics from conception to completion
- Collaborating with internal teams and partners to design and execute exceptional educational experiences
- Conceptualizing and coordinating all project elements (i.e. Registration, General Session, AV, F&B, Décor, Signage and Branding, Speaker and Entertainment, Breakouts, Transportation, etc.)
- Building trusted partnerships with outside vendors and event staff
- Fostering a dynamic and inspiring team culture on-site
- Traveling frequently and engaging in hands-on event setup
- Handling physical aspects of the work, including moving boxes, environment setup, and being on your feet for extended periods
TIME COMMITMENT
This position will require in-person attendance and overnight stays for The iCenter’s experience events during the upcoming dates in 2025:
- January 26-28, 2025
- March 2-5, 2025
- May 19-22, 2025
- August 2025 (exact dates to be determined)
- November 2025 (exact dates to be determined)
- Plus additional dates as determined
Commitment for these events include at least one day prior and after the event dates above, in addition to in-person work at The iCenter office in order to prepare for the event and break down the event once it has been completed. Additional dates may be included and will be shared once they are finalized.

ABOUT THE GW PROGRAM
Created through a partnership between The iCenter and the George Washington University, with generous support from the Marcus Foundation, the Graduate Degree in Israel Education is the first of its kind to be offered at a major university in the U.S. It brings together cohorts of Jewish educators, leaders and changemakers providing them the inspiration and strategies to place Israel Education at the heart of Jewish communal life. The program is rooted in a learner-centered philosophy, both in its academic teaching and its professional practice. The people, which includes the students, faculty, and staff, and their relationships are the key to the success of this program.
ROLE OVERVIEW
As the Academic Program Coordinator for the GW program, you’ll serve in a vital administrative and support role while ensuring an excellent student experience from recruitment to alumni support. The Academic Program Coordinator will liaise between GW and The iCenter, while supporting key program functions such as admissions, online course logistics, in-person seminars, and communication with students. The Academic Program Coordinator plays an essential role in ensuring and maintaining the culture of the GW program. In addition, this position will play a fundamental role in educational experience planning and production, which may include coordinating event logistics, collaborating with internal teams to support executing educational experiences, and other administrative tasks.
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
Your role includes but is not limited to:
- Supporting the Admissions Workflow by reviewing applications, sending interview notifications, contacting applicants, liaising with the Admissions Office of GW’s Graduate School of Education and Human Development, managing all data input to Salesforce, and other tasks as needed.
- Managing information systems, including courses on Zoom, migrating data to Salesforce, and overseeing Canvas (learning management system) and additional online course logistics on behalf of the program.
- Handling student communication related to course registration, financial assistance, seminars, Canvas, and other details as needed.
- Collaborating with the Program Director and Educational Experience Producer to support the execution of in-person seminars, including assisting students with travel, hotel, and dietary needs, creating and being an integral part of the Opening Colloquium experience, November seminar, March seminar, and other event production needs that may arise.
- Administrative and support tasks with the Experience team, which may include helping coordinate event logistics, hands-on event setup, and collaborating with internal teams to execute experiences
- Other administrative and support tasks assigned within other areas of The iCenter, as needed
TIME COMMITMENT
This position will require in-person attendance and overnight stays for The GW in-person experiences. GW in-person events occur in March, August, and November in Chicago and/or Washington, DC. This position may also require occasional attendance at other iCenter educational experiences to support experience production.
